Episode 03: Adriana

While a lot returnees moved back to Mexico with their families, they didn’t exactly get to make that decision. But sometimes, returnees see opportunities in Mexico that they can’t access in the US, and make the choice to return on their own.

Today, we talk to Adriana, who chose to leave her life in New York City to return to Mexico for college. Also, some of the best colleges in Mexico are free or have robust scholarships. And she gives a perspective on why she thinks Mexico should do a better job of explaining the opportunities that exist inside the country so more families aren’t split up.
